For quick on-site diagnostics Flir Systems developed the Flir i3 infrared camera. Because of its low weight and small dimensions, it fits in every tool box. Regardless of whether its an initial assessment of a motor,electrical component or a search for thermal bridge. The Flir i3 is ready to use and needs seldom charging (5 hours operation time per charged battery).

Likewise no short cuts were made as far as technology is concerned. The i5 detects temperature differences of a minimum of 0,15K. The highest temperature that can be detected is 250°C. Therefor the Flir i3 is versatile.
